kauai

So you've decided to come to Kaua'i, appropriately nicknamed the Garden Isle. Kaua'i is the 4th largest island with 554 square miles. It is one of our favorite places in the whole world. Kaua'i has much to offer in natural beauty but for most the main attraction is "the Grand Canyon of the Pacific," Waimea canyon. Just a quick drive up from the beach on the west side to Koke'e are breathtaking views unique only to this region. Also near the end of this road is the Kalalau lookout. A glimpse into a truly mystical valley accessible only by boat or a strenuous hike from the north side of the island. Kauai like all the islands has very distinct climate zones but here is also the wettest spot on earth, Wai'ale'ale, with an average rainfall of 500 inches each year. There are many spectacular waterfalls on Kaua'i as well as miles of deserted white sand beaches to just relax on. There many things to do here and we are sure you will be able to find something for all of your family. Following are some of our favorite spots. Just these spots alone will create a memeorable vacation, but they are only the tip of the iceberg.
